Blurb/Shorttext:
The book is a comparison between various viruses with special interest to PPRV which causes a devastating disease of sheep/goat leading to huge economical loses annually worldwide. Survival of the virus in environment is studied by physical and chemical agents in comparison to other viruses with same treatments, studied by other scientist. It was found that PPRV is very sensitive to ultraviolet rays, high temperature i. e. 56C and chemical like virusnip. As far as animal therapy is concerned, treatment of Goats/sheep with peppermint essential oil has direct effect on inactivation of virus in-vitro so it can be used to treat the animal.
