Philipp Bayer, né le 5 février 1956 en Allemagne, est un pratiquant de Wing Chun (ou Ving Tsun), un style de Kung Fu, originaire de Foshan en Chine et popularisé par le Grand Maître Ip Man. Philipp Bayer fut l'élève de Maître Wong Shun Leung, un des plus anciens et célèbres élèves du Grand Maître Ip Man. Il rencontra Wong Shun Leung en 1983 à Hong Kong, et contribue depuis à diffuser le Ving Tsun en Allemagne et dans le reste de l'Europe. Il fonda ainsi l'organisation Ving Tsun Kung Fu Association Europe, qui regroupe des dizaines d'écoles dans de nombreux pays.
