Ghana has, in general, enjoyed good relations with the United States of America (USA) since independence. Ghana and the USA are signatories to twenty agreements and treaties covering such matters as agricultural commodities, aviation, defence, economic and technical cooperation, education, extradition, postal matters, telecommunications and treaty obligations. The United States is among Ghana's principal trading partners.Over the past eighteen years when Ghana returned into the constitutional rule, relations with the US has deepened and this has to a large extent influenced Ghana’s domestic policies in the area of economics, political, cultural and social . The book assess the impact of relations over the past ten years (2000 to 2010). The book assessed the policy implications emanating from Ghana USA relations s from 2000 to 2010.
