Salinity stress is a major abiotic stress which severely affects the productivity of crops all over the world. The present study was conducted with the objectives to evaluate different rice genotypes under salt stress. This evaluation is under hydroponic conditions at seedling stage. It has be concluded that salinity stress had significant inhibitory effects on seedling traits. Genotypes studied under this project could be utilized in future breeding program to release salt tolerant rice varieties.
