The title of this research study is: An exploration of the transition of chemistry concepts between secondary school and undergraduate BSc Chemistry studies in South Africa. This research study was intended to find out the conceptual gaps between high school chemistry and first year undergraduate BSc chemistry. This research study focused on the challenges faced by students in learning chemistry and it also focused on the challenges faced by teachers when teaching chemistry.
