A growing interest has been given to the written communicative competence. This is due to the fact that writing constitutes the main educational construct by which learners are being assessed. Correct communicative written expression is one of the most difficult skills to accomplish especially among EFL learners since, generally, EFL writing courses give more attention to only the linguistic aspects of writing. Pragmatics, as an approach to teaching English as a foreign language, provides learners with the opportunity to develop their written communicative competence, better understand the common rules and conventions that govern the choices of language within discourse. With supporting technology, EFL learners are given better opportunities to develop their linguistic knowledge constructively, improve their English communicative competence and engage in an interactive learning experience.
