Ravi Opi is a village development committee in Kavrepalanchok District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 3516 in 575 individual households. Kavrepalanchok District, a part of Bagmati Zone, is one of the seventy-five districts of Nepal, a landlocked country of South Asia. The district, with Dhulikhel as its district headquarters, covers an area of 1,396 km² and has a population (2001) of 385,672. Mr. Prem Lama was elected as the Samsad (leader) of the District. He and his family were later accosted for his association and care for the people.
