The research was conducted with EFL students from a public university within one semester by the same teacher. The researcher expected that there is significant difference between the two, and teaching students by encouraging them to get the word meaning from context will yield a better result than by using the other method. However, the result of this study is not as expected - it shows the similar outcome.
