At times the intellects of mankind have created great systems of ideas, theories. Men have formulated their life experiences, moral renaissances, agonies of their hearts as theories and shaped them into various philosophical doctrines. Man has always sought ways to prove his identity. Sufism (tasawwuf) is one of these great WAYs. Yes, what is Allah like and where is Allah no one knows this. His might is in His invisibility and covertness. However, all through his life the man‐Sufi‐salik has strived to Him –to Allah’s abode. The Creature‐man stands at one end and the Creator‐Allah stands at the other, hence the strength of Sufism. The notion called “the world” is within the boundaries of these two ends. The world is the path from Man to Allah. Sufism consists of the pleasure and agony experienced by the human who makes this journey and of the thoughts he contemplates over on his way. In this ordinary and simple book we don’t intend to provide an explanation to Sufism as an entire philosophical doctrine, system which makes the entire mankind think. Our goal is to consider it as a literary philosophical trend.
