The village is built at an altitude of ~750 m on the foothills of the fir forest of Sarantapikho and on the eastern slope of the valley of river Krios.The village had a population of 305 in 2001 and it is in the municipality of Aigeira. Seliana is connected by a 19 km road to the town of Aegeira and the "New National Road" (Greek: Νέα Εθνική Οδός) (GR-8A, Athens - Corinth - Patras). Distance from Patras is 86 km and from Athens 167 km.
