Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Rohinjan is a village situated in Taloja, Raigad district in Maharashtra, India. Maharashtra is a state located in India. The word Maharashtra is said to be derived from tribal name Rathi or Ratha (chariot fighters) who were great fighters at the time of Mauryan empire and thus making the country name as Maha-Ratha of which the Sanskritized version is Maharashtra. The other theory is that it is derived from the combination of word Mahar and Rashtra giving Maharashtra (Pali - Maharattha) on the name of powerful Mahar tribe of this area; just like Gujarat (Pali - Gujrattha) formed from Gurjara and Rashtra.
