Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Rogale Wielkie [rɔˈɡalɛ ˈvjɛlkʲɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Biała Piska, within Pisz County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) east of Biała Piska, 30 km (19 mi) east of Pisz, and 117 km (73 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn. Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia). The village has a population of 120. East Prussia enclosed the bulk of the ancestral lands of the Baltic Old Prussians. During the 13th century, the native Prussians were conquered by the crusading Teutonic Knights. The indigenous Balts who survived the conquest were gradually converted to Christianity.
