Photosynthesis is fundamental and essential process on which our whole planet is depended. There are two phases namely light reaction where light energy is converted to chemical energy and dark reaction in which chemical energy will be utilized to form carbohydrates. This light reaction can be influenced by several environmental factors like temperature, light and heavy metals. They mainly affect the absorption of light and energy transfer and electron transport. For all the above stresses the main the target is energy transfer and water oxidation process. Further studies regarding mechanism of stress action on light reaction are essential to substantiate the action of stress on light reaction.
