Peter Samuel Heine (28 June 1928 in Winterton, KwaZulu-Natal – 4 February 2005 in Pretoria) was a South African cricketer who played in fourteen Tests from 1955 to 1962. As a leather slinger renowned for his consummate hostility, he picked up 277 first-class scalps at an average of 21.38, including a haul of eight for 92 for Orange Free State against Transvaal in Welkom in 1954-55. Peter died on the 14th of February 2005 due to Cardiac arrest in a private hospital in Pretoria
