Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Acapoeta tanganicae is a species of ray-finned fish in the Cyprinidae family. It is found in Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, and Zambia. Its natural habitats are rivers, freshwater lakes, and inland deltas. It is threatened by habitat loss.Natural lakes are generally found in mountainous areas, rift zones, and areas with ongoing glaciation. Other lakes are found in endorheic basins or along the courses of mature rivers. In some parts of the world there are many lakes because of chaotic drainage patterns left over from the last Ice Age. All lakes are temporary over geologic time scales, as they will slowly fill in with sediments or spill out of the basin containing them.
