Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Ignacio 'Nacho' Carlos González is a retired Argentine footballer, who played as a goalkeeper. González started his professional career in 1991 with Racing Club de Avellaneda, where he played 133 top division games. Towards the end of his time with the club, he gained a reputation as an excellent penally taker. In 1997 he joined Newell's Old Boys of Rosario and, the following year, moved to Spain's UD Las Palmas. After being backup in his first year, spent in the second level, and serving a loan in Mexico with C.F. Pachuca, González became the starter, netting four goals in 2001–02, but the Canary Islands' outfit was relegated from La Liga, with the keeper finding the net on four occasions, through penalties.
