The female panda is Fu Ni in Chinese and is translated as "lucky girl", (Chinese: 福妮). She weighs 90 kg. They were quarantined on 21 October 2009 ready for their trip to Australia. The pandas have joined Earth hour as official ambassadors this year. The pandas were officially relocated to Adelaide, South Australia in November 2009.
